I go by Danielle...
What does one say about themself? I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. I grew up wanting to become an architect, but when I reached the age of reasoning, I realized that my incredible lack of mathematical skills would prevent this from ever happening. I still continued to draw outlandish blueprints on notebook paper throughout my teen years, but set my realistic goals on becoming a singer/songwriter/fashion designer/model. When that dream was crushed (I survived), I decided I could be the person taking all the shots instead.
I graduated from college with a degree in commercial photography and have been shooting since 2006. I shot weddings and commercial work for a really long time until I slowed down a bit to have babies. During that time, I taught myself how to paint and leaned heavily into that for a few years. All the while, I was working on marketing side-gig projects like web design, social media, and blogging. If it’s creative, I’ve probably done it. I still shoot stock for stocksy.com, so if you have any pups you need pics of, holler!
I love being given a challenge and seeing what I can do. I guess that’s why the universe threw a curveball my way in 2023 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. But, like any project I’ve taken on, I learned a lot and moved on! Lessons take, universe!
I currently live in Marblehead, MA with my 11 and 12-year-old girls and my 10-year-old French bulldog, Kevin.
And sometimes, I make music.
